The Club gave to the following charities. Jaipur Limb project, Greenbank school, Rotary Club of Queens Park, & Sightsavers all received £200. Enable & Biblical Cycle Run each awarded £150. Princes Royal Trust & D.A.Gore Cancer Appeal each given £50 .

The Danes were here in strength, arrangements for this visit were put together by Rotarians Edwin Robertson and George Rodgers who between them prepared a full programme which included an all day bus tour (10.00am to 10.00pm) to Loch Katrine for lunch, a sail on the loch followed by a visit to Ross Priory for dinner with an appropriate sing song.

Home hosting was another feature as in previous visits.
