For the first time Ladies night and the Annual Dance lost money this was due to the poor support of members.
Club bowlers win District Indoor Trophy for the second time.
Hugh Begg became the Clubs first Honorary member.
Donations were made as follows Cumnock outing £130, Boys Brigade Centenary Fund £100, East Kilbride Deaf Club £50, The Samaritans £100, Robert Owen centre £100, Rosslyn Children Home £40, Nerston residential Home £25.

As in years past John Kilpatrick was Santa at Glenburn School helped by newer Rotarian Edwin Robertson.
Club supported our Twinned Club of Ballerup in raising monies for the International Red Cross a cheque for £140.00 was sent to Ballerup.
School Careers Day still being supported by the club.
Club took part in the International Youth Rally hosting youths from Norway, Finland, Switzerland and West Germany.
Our President was Peter Baker who classification was Paint manufacturer (Wholesaler).
